Meet Amy
Amy Lewis Swayze, LDO, FNAO, FOAA
Amy Lewis Swayze has been certified by the American Board of Opticianry since 1998. Originally licensed in Vermont, she is currently licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Amy is the owner of Eyeworks of Millis, LLC. which she started in July, 2008. A strong sense of dedication to her profession, Ms. Swayze has been involved on the optical boards of each state in which she has been licensed. She served as a board member of the National Academy of Opticianry and served 6 years on the Commission of Opticianry Accreditation, the last two years as Chair of the Commission. She currently is on the Board of Directors for the Opticians Association of Massachusetts and spent many years involved with the State Leadership Committee for the Opticians Assoc of America. Amy lives in Rhode Island with her husband, cats Lucy and Rico and dog Penny.
